1. No runs will be given if the ball hits the backside fence, only the runs taken between wickets runs will be given.
2. Runs will be given for Bye's/Over-throw's.
3. LBW (Leg Before Wicket) will not be given out.
4. Excessive over speed (decided by umpires) or side throw ball, wrong action or jerking action is not allowed, and will be treated as no ball. One Step bowling is allowed (i.e., stand and throw). Ground umpires and management will explain about no balls and bowling guidelines prior to the respective matches.
5. Direct ball above waist and above shoulder after one bounce will be treated as no-ball.
6. Left/Right side fence having fixed Runs either 1/2/4 (will be marked through sign board). However, one can run between wickets to add runs to score board only in case of G-1 and D-2. In case of G-4 and D-6, running between the wickets will not be given.
7. After G-1 or D-2, if ball touches the boundary, then it will be taken as G-4 or D-6 not + 1+4/2+4 or 1+6/2+6.
8. On the front side fence, runs will be given as G-4 or D-6.
9. Overhead fence will be treated as open sky, if catches after it touches overhead fence before boundary, it will be considered to be out but if it's touches any side of fence then it will be given D-2/4/6
10. In case of any corner border of any pole balls hits of D-2/4 or D-4/6 higher runs in both will be given.
11. In case, if balls reach to stumps in 2 or more drops will be treated as dead ball
12. In any case, if balls stuck in overhead/side fence it will be treated as dead ball.
13. All category of out will decrease Batman's Runs by 2
14. Additional Runs by 2 will be given for every wide and no balls and will be added to batting team total.
15. Any argument with umpires or misbehaves or taunting/comments to opponents will be penalised (by 5-10 runs depends on intensity).
16. Run out will be considered on running side stumps only. Full crease running to be done (no half crease running between wickets)
17. Catch out will be considered if body touches fence of any side (but in case, if the ball touches fence while taking catch, it will be not out and runs will be given)
18. Apart from bowlers, maximum of 3 players is allowed in front side fence. Rest fielding can be set as per bowlers wisdom.
19. For Bating and bowling line up-
Junior Champ Vs Junior Champ is mandatory to open first
Experience Vs Experience is mandatory but can be lined up anytime at your wisdom.
Rest anyone can bowl and bat as per choice.
20. Reporting time for all scheduled matches is 30 mins prior to match times, especially for captain/vice-captain to be present.
21. Maximum of 15 mins grace time will be given to any team from scheduled time after that it will be treated as walk over if the team fails to prove the numbers of players (minimum 7 players needed to continue match but if they ready to bat for 7 overs only, whereas opponent will play for full overs), in that case 3 extra overs to bowl will be decided and taken out from lottery (excludes junior champs and experience players)
22. Committee can provide wait list players (on availability only), and if due to any unavoidable situation any players fail to continue any moments, then through lottery from wait list players can be endorsed.
23. Wait list players will be available from first match of the tournament.
24. No matches will be shifted for any reason. Only committee have the rights if for any unforeseen reason they fail to complete any matches in time as per schedule then only they can shift matches to other dates with alternative to choose any
25. In case of any injuries or having previous injuries, bandages or gloves will be allowed.
26. Mym disciplinary committee have full wisdom to make changes in any of the above rules with mutual consent of all the team captain. In case of dispute, final call will be of disciplinary committee for any provision to imposed.
27. Points Table
* 2 points for every 10 runs scored will be given to player (as a Batsman),
* 1 points deducted for every 10 runs given by players (as a Bowler) and 0.5 points for
every wicket taken (by a bowler)
28. On ground, Umpires calls will be treated to be final. (Human error can be possible, so let's play with spirit of brotherhood)
29. New Rule Amendment 2026
Change in rules from last season.
No ball will not be considered if legs are ungrounded.
No Steps for bowling is mandatory i.e. stand and throw else consider to be given no ball.
The new rules state that it's will not called a no-ball if the bowler's legs are ungrounded.
Additionally, bowlers must stand and throw without taking steps, or it will be considered a
no-ball.
The rule change aims to promote fair play and ensure a more consistent game.
Note: All the rules are subject to change at any time with prior notice. The committee has the right to make any changes in any of the above rules with mutual consent of all the team captains. If any new rule is implemented then it will be updated before the tournament.
